Anyone with the scoop on these? Saw them at Gun Chenger.

    Re: Mystery Tiny vinyls

Not sure what those are from, but I'm 99% sure they aren't vinyl. It'd be almost impossible to cast that shape in vinyl with rotational molding since there seems to be no hollow space in the middle. Looks like they are made of ABS or PVC with two part molds. Cool little ships!

    You're right Velocitron.
I'm generalizing the term "vinyl" too much

Wonder who makes them? Every decent kaiju should be biting or grabbing one.

You have to post the whole entry, there are some gorgeous pics there that show off how cool these are:

Love the combining action. Translation seems to suggest that they're little toys that came in packages of Choco Ball.

Love how some of them looks just like the Zeon tanks from Gundam with the little jet/gun turrets on top! The totem-pole guys and UFOs are sweet, too!

According to the blog, these were sold by Meiji, a food and confections manufacturer.

I would agree with August in this, the candy toy releases were not always licensed items, sometimes original designs or just blatant ripoffs were done too.

Time to hit them Japanese supermart.
Hope they're choco balls- could down 10 packs of those at one go.
