The PUSMORT record on the left side of the case I got from Pushead in 1987 when I was just a wee nipper. The packaged mechas I bought years before I collected vinyl and was just a nerdy pushead fan who saw them online. Once I allocate a second shelf in that case for pushead stuff, I'm going to de-package them. Same with the little guy who's still in the bag. I just picked him up last week, so I didnt want to pull him out of the bag until he moves. Same will all of my Hyperstoics. Slow and steady wins the race
I like how the records are part of the mix, definitely what got me started collecting in the first place.
Oh yeah. I was a total skater kid. The little dorky sort who sent Pushead letters, collected Zorlac decks and listened to Septic Death. Somewhere I have all the (very thoughtful of him to write to a dorky 13yo skater kid) letters and stickers and stuff he sent to me when I was a teen. It was the kaws/pushead toy that really got me into vinyl collecting- I had googled Pushead to see what Mr. Schroeder was up to and came across that toy and it's since been my financial downfall I had a few of the Mecha Terrors, but didn't really know there was a whole toy culture going on around me. I collect more than just 'head stuff... Buffmonster, Jeremy Fish, et all... but the Pus stuff is the most personal of all the things I collect.
