wow swervedriver is playing. i hope ylt does a more rock oriented set for your sake. the past few times i have seen them they have done these "jam session" rambles. it's good musicianship, but can be boring as hell. great lineup though.
Swervedriver, now there's a name I've not heard in a long time! MBV always puts on a great show. So glad I was able to catch the Toronto show last year.
Wish I could but funds lack. Even better news for those going Tim Biskup is gonna be there with some stuff and DJing.
i have just been told that my bloody valentine are playing all 3 nights allegedly,,the main arena's soundsystem is not to their liking,,so instead they will be playing in a smaller room every night.. i am kinda scared how loud the decibels will be in this smaller room,,definitely bringing some earplugs!! for £150,,this is definitely a bargain,,3 days of music and lodging plus waterslide fun!!
Oh God! The Television Personalities? First time I've wished I was back in Blighty for many a moon! Fair brings a tear of nostalgia to me eye it does ... Dan Treacy is a living leg end. So many good songs, and one brief moment of fame for one that didn't really represent what they were about. No TVP's = no J&MC, no MBV, no Dinosaur Jr., etc. etc. (No Arctic Monkeys? lol! ) One of the most underappreciated bands in the whole history of music. "They could have been bigger than the Beatles" - indeed. Have fun Jeb! Wish I could be there! Looks like a crack all round.
