More Damnedrons

Just finished these up today. Metallics with tranparents with high gloss.Thanks 4 looking!

Metallic paints do work perfectly with the damnedrons sans the pinstripe---your pinstriping skills are cool, but i guess in this case, metallic paint is enough.

 

Really love the colors of these two.

 

beautiful with or without the stripes IMO.

I'd like to see more like this with a different shade in the eyes.

 

I would rather see more of your pin stripe work on these two... the metallic colors totally rock but that pin striping you did on the other one is crazy wicked...!!!



Don't listen to me though I think you should avoid reading message board opinions and just bust out with your vision...

 

Those look like great starts, but ultimately look unfinished. Would love to see the eyes and mouth detailed.

 

these are definitely sweet. i agree that the metallics work great on this figure.

 

these strips are more in keeping with the sculpt.
Colours are very cool.

 

I like the red, looks like lava, where the topmost areas have cooled, but the undersides are still molten.


I think I would airbrush the eyes black, or yellow to give the character life though.. right now it looks like a statue of a monster not an actual monster. you know what I mean?

Err... I meant, was he planning on doing anything else to them? I mean, these are more of an exercise of paint application than anything "artisitic"...

 

Matt, send me those. I'll be more than happy to paint detail in the eyes and mouth which is all it really needs.
I'm sure they look even better in person.
