http://www.flickr.com/photos/happinessb ... 412578852/ I just made my first recast of a monster soaky form the 50's, recasting was a great excuse to buy these. its the mummy, hoping to do lots of different colors with these. the creature is next. not sure if the pic is working so check the link.
looks like someone forgot their middle school biology.... *cough*cell mitosis*cough* but definitely a great little piece! interested to see some painted up...
Considering that it's been almost 60 years since I was in middle school I think "fan/screen thingys" was pretty close.
did they even have cell mitosis back then?!? these do look awesome, though... the cobra at his feet seals the deal
I think cell mitosis is cool and besides it was the first empty place on my shelf that I could take a decent pic. Got some more colors coming this weekend, any suggestions.
I do all the rotocasting by hand, kevlo posted a link in the SHEDORAH thread i believe but if he didn't here it is again http://www.kfhc.us/art/2010/11/8/roto-casting.html check it out
You know this is pretty cool. I had a friend who, about 20 years ago sculpted the monsters they never made soakys of like Dracula (Holding a key, it was amazing!) and we were planning an invisible man but never did it. the Dracula was cast and he only made like 5. I still want to sculpt an Invisible man one. Pulling off his bandages. We were discussing doing an "Alien" one.
I have seen the Dracula, its, pretty cool. Some web site is trying to pedal it has the missing soaky that palmolive never got around to producing. Its a great figure format and the list of should'ves is endless, the invisble man would be great I would love one of the fly too.
