I think it looks cheap. I would've like it more with some spray, or anything to make it look more "finished," and less just spare parts from a bag temproarily slapped together.
Personally thats why I like it so much. In the halloween month I think this is SB's own "Frankenstein" so to speak. Using mixed parts, and parts from other figures is well in line for a Frankenstein theme even if it isnt called that. Just my thoughts.
I just wish the eye and mouth on the Madball was painted since the eyes on the Mantis are. That's the only thing throwing me off. Otherwise I think it's gaudy, ugly, punk and hell and really fun.
Even frankenstien's monster was stiched together though. And I swear I saw a picture with the madball head painted somewhere else...
The madball head is going to have a orange paint on it. I think this is a test piece. Forgot to mention that. Also this looks so sick in person, not cheap looking at all.
me too - the cheaper the better! ...its the fxxking concept. try to put together a "good looking" fig that still looks cheap - not easy!!! ...secret of urban hipsters wearing second hand clothes.
i have to agree with others and say the fact that this thing is sooooo fuckin' ugly and cheap looking is what makes it work for me too. it is a trainwreck and i cannot look away...
Then I hope the pirce is less than what I paid for a really well painted/thought out DBM, but it won't be.
I saw the painted version at the Cure office, it is an orange spray, i have to say though, i kinda like it as is..still looks dope painted though heh
I think I'll dig him either way, could want one more than the other but I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

Any word on a relase date for this one? I was kind of hoping this might be a secret Halloween release.
It was a FC order, but I'm sure it will turn up at a shop or two in the US. Not sure when he will be arriving.
