looks awesome, i cant wait for this to come out but like toybot said on his blog, the details get lost on the clear vinyl, so ill wait to see what color ends up being produced
Bufftwat- I believe that's what George Carlin used to refer to as a "snapper". This clear green looks great. More slime than jade though. I'd still love to own one.
Re: ! Ok so lasers were a tad hyperbolic, but the soft glow of internally lit vinyl is really something special. Especially with the detail of the sculpt, I think it would look right on. GID vinyl is milky and would diffuse the glow.
a white flocked version would be insane...and would look great with the right paint in parts on the flock... this is without a doubt the best sculpt I've ever seen for a fight figure...it's really on another level...
Seconded . . . Cant wait to see one with a paint app though . . . masked, freehand or a mix of both . . . enquiring minds need to know!
I have nothing against flocking or flocked toys in general. But I think a lot of the fine details on this intricate sculpt would be muted by the addition of flocking. When everything is all fuzzy, you lose a lot of the crispness of detail that makes this guy so special.
it doesn't need to all be flocked. mostly painted with flocking on the mane would be cool. if i can get my hands on one maybe i'll give that a try
lol..... i wasn't referring to you flocking the mane or whatever... I am just not in favor of a flocked version of this toy. i'm sure if you flocked the mane, it would be flocking great.
flock all of you...I love flocked toys. the white flocked skullwing is amazing, and I think this sculpt would look great in a white flock too... I hate purple...a lot, but don't condemn it... purple off, flock haterz.
