Filling the legs with sand might help depending how far off balance it is!

thanks andy... i'll see if its just the bear head that was doing it... i like the bootleg much more with that head, but i'm trying the skull now as it seems lighter, and the dimensions and weight are different on it.

Mine took a diver off my dresser in the middle of the night, it scared the hell out of me. I just took some paper and folded it up into a think square and put one under each foot so he leans back a little more. Seems to be working for me so far.

He does like stage diving. I figured it was due to 90+ weather here.

*I am using the Simon head and it is still a little top heavy

^ That's shitty because 1. I think the bear head is way cooler and 2. why offer the bear head as an option if it can't support the weight. These look awesome but it seems like a lot of people are dealing with this same problem.

It does have a bit of a forward lean but I would not say using the bear head is out of the question. Mine will stand with either head but is more prone to fall with the bear. I am going to do the ole hot bath, fix stance, cold bath trick and see if it works. The forward lean is definitely not too bad, just the weight of the figure complicates things.

Its pretty similar to the original sculpt i have a few that tend to lean forward, its just easier to heat up and fix a small toy.But if you put a little something under his feet to get him to lean back hes sturdy.

Yea I think there is an issue with these standing. I think its because its too much vinyl and it was it taken into consideration in the scuplt.
Not sure what can be done, but I had zero problems with the sample, maybe the new vinyl is a bit softer?

You can fill it because through the neck cavit you can tickle his insides lol...

I'll figure something out, cause I live it with the bear head,

Where I live it's 100+ during the hot summer but I keep my house climate controlled at 78 and he still took a dive... Maybe I'll make a wedge o place under his foot in black to put him back a bit

Anyone figure out any fixes for the stage diving Giant? Between the heat and the tilt he's not safe in my room.

Hey Steve, I think I have but it's going to involve a little drilling and some filling with magic sculpt. I'm going to try in small scale first and then do it to my giant bootleg. The problem is the weakening of the ankles in the heat. It makes the vinyl soft enough to collapse under the weight. I think with proper reinforcement, it can be fixed. Will keep everyone updated.

The M1go giant Kanegon required you to put something heavy in the feet and then fill the legs with something to stiffen it up. They have the same issues of the vinyl not always being strong enough to support it's size. I haven't personally done it, but I think that expanding spray foam will do the trick. I would be careful not to overdue it though 'cuz you could ruin the articulation I'm sure.
