Ongoing at the gallery is our Friday Night Live Painting event. If any one is around and wants to stop on by, please do so. It starts at 6 and goes til 9. Tonight's artist is the lovely MARISA SAYLER Every week we feature a new artist who indirectly collaborates with the previous week's artist on a 3' x 6' canvas, on the sidewalk, in front of the gallery. We pit (in a good way) artists of various backgrounds, mediums, demographics, etc. and see what each one creates on the heels of the week before. Ultimately, the goal is to help create more awareness of the arts and artists in Long Beach, CA. Imagine a long, blank wall and each week a new artist comes out and adds a little piece of them self and eventually you end up with quite a body of work. Our goal is to exhibit all of the canvases and then auction them off for charity. If you or know of someone who would like to participate, please let me know. Need a personal reference on us...
