Man's Ruin: Thanks for the Memories, ya bastard
Years and Years ago I stumbled upon a new record label while unemployed.

Man's Ruin was a turnin' point in my listening career and I had to thank Mr. Kozik, esq. for the opportunity to hear some of the best bands to ever be recorded:

Beaver - To this day one of the few bands that I can never tire of when listening too. They called it quits within the last two years, but the releases on MR are gold and worth seeking out.

Acid King - female lead + sludgy hard rock = sonic goodness! If you're around NYC in two weeks you'll have a rare opportunity to get pummled. I've waited for 6 years to see 'em and ain't nuthin' gonna stop me.

Lost Goat - what is it about chicks who can hold their own and rock? A must listen :D

And a ton more...most are now DOA, which leaves me misty-eyed but at least we were able to get some of them when the gettin' was good.

it was fun..and a nightmare. 212 releases in 5 years.

I did maybe 200 of the 211 releases art and design.

I heard Lydia got married and had a kid back in Texas

FK- why havent you started doing labbits with all over wrapped paint jobs of your famous album covers/ posters?

Like an all over houdini paint job? That would rule.
