sub - Kaiju Korner is the article I write every month for Playtimes magazine. Not every collector has up to the second info from the Internet. Plus, it is the nature of print medium to be several weeks behind the times. It takes time to collect information, compile it, send a magazine to print, and distribute it worldwide. The articles are not meant merely as "new release" blurbs. For the first article, about the Restroyer, Bwana Spoons and Koji Harmon were very supportive in providing info about the figure and its development process. The current issue (which has been out about 2 weeks) has a picture of the Frankenghost and many other new and old Ghostfighters. It also contains a rather detailed history of the Ghostfighter line, with valuable help from Brian Flynn and Isaac Ramos. The Mask-Ranger issue (coming out in a few weeks), will feature pictures of every figure released so far, including the Damage Brain, as well as shots of the Secret Base store. The articles are a way for more people to learn about kaiju. Plus I enjoy writing them. So, Pogue, be careful about making snide comments about them (if you even read them), because when you do, it's a slap in the face to all the contributors.
I don't and it isn't because they don't read that crap either. Do you edit yoour articles as much as you did that post. 6 times?
So sure about that? Bwana Spoons told me at SDCC that he has read the issue with the Restroyer column. He told me it was right on. Brian Flynn was deeply involved in my Haunted Ghostfighter piece. He uploaded for me a large number of excellent photos that appeared in the article. He proofed the piece before it went to press, to check for factual discrepancies. I sent him a copy of the published magazine to thank him for his help. One Up regularly reads the magazine. They've been very helpful in providing background info for my upcoming piece on Cronic. I'm also in touch with Cronic as part of my background research. Any more comments, Pogue? Because the more you belittle my articles (which I doubt you've read), the more you insult the people that contribute to the column.
I am not worried about it. In fact I would appreciate a reminder next Friday so I can give Flynn shit for promoting his product through such a crappy magazine and dealing the biggest tool in the toy world. BTW - I have recieved many pm's from people who supprt me. I think under cutting s7 on the franken ghost is probably a bigger slight. Would you like to address that issue?
The figure retailed for $60. I tried to sell it for cost ($70, including shipping), but had no takers. I lowered the total price to $60, including shipping. Seriously, if you think this is slighting Brian or S7, you're friggin nuts. Why don't you just admit it. You can't suck me into a hating contest at KR anymore, so you're trying to do it here.
admit what? that you are a running joke? Okay, you are a joke. (happy?) maybe I just need some more of your free analysis. tell me who I am Swag. I can't wait.
Pogue, you're embarrassing yourself. Just give it up. (And if you give Brian a hard time about the time he spent helping with the Playtimes article, you'll only be insulting him as well.)
Well you arbitrarily drove up the price of a figure I really wanted and then sold it for $100 less than that. Anyway, never mind. I'm glad it went to a good home.
I wouldn't call that a good home... And who said your's was? And whats arbitrary about it? And if he sold it to a friend its none of your business? All these questions and more...
