They look like plastic ?.. I have a heap of the keshi ones , they have great detail for a 4cm figure and cost almost nothing I have only photographed these ones ...
Yes, as I was saying, these are hard plastic, not keshi figures. Much more of an old-style toy. I think I only have a couple of the soft ones, those ones you showed are really sweet.
Found this pic online of a Bandai Giant Size Kamen Rider V3 (drool....) Funny has the same exact head as my Giant Thundermask:
There are some great figures in here. Personally, I have always liked Skyrider best. I found it to be the most engrossing show of the ones I watched.
Hey I never posted my V3 score in the very thread it needed to go in!: Bandai Kamen Rider V3 by Beautification Syndrome, on Flickr Bandai Kamen Rider V3 by Beautification Syndrome, on Flickr That's not the reason for this post though, remember that bootleg set I wanted ID'd?: Apparently there is a Spider Man villain also, found online: Might be a different maker altogether, but they look similar. Here are pics of the other two:
im glad you bought that v3 on ebay- i always contemplate buying it. those villains you posted are the flying pose variation- i think the ones you posted are the legit ones. *i think* they are way more rare than the normal ones, and fetch a pretty penny. theres also a cool set of finger puppet villains as well.
The flying ones are not part of the Popy/Bandai KR mini series ... they could be licensed though; just need to see the markings Yes there are some cool finger puppets, here is batman with a mini...
Very nice 'still fresh in the package' Kamen Rider Jim. It's always nice to see the cool backing cards they did. I've had zero luck with that version lately but one will turn up for the right price eventually.
There is alot of variation in the original mini's which is awesome but I must say those 3 are very interesting ... Kanibubbler legs are adifferent sculpt to the usual and the metalic spray on Mogurang is not often seen ... Black Batman is a must have !
So what does everyone think of this Medicom release of Spider Man? Mold looks similar to original but with less texture on the chest. Paint job/cape definitely added touches. No overseas ordering. Still prefer original, but I wonder if we might see more of these?: http://www.bearbrick.com/tretro1024/
kind of a bummer- im glad its a whole new sculpt and it looks cool but i will still only hunt the vintage. its also weird that they didnt include the belt? the original did have a cloak- however its pretty rare to find one with it. just for good measure, long live vintage
Im really liking the Medicom spider kaijin. Great colors, really nice head sculpt and proportions. If they were shipping over seas id probably get one but with middle man fees its too much for a new toy IMO. Ive never seen an original for sale withe the cape, the guy from the "amazing toy" blog has the only one ive seen.
Sort of a double post but I'll use a different pic- Bootleg Poly Kamen Rider. I think he's a knock off of the larger sized version: Bootleg Poly knock off Kamen Rider by Beautification Syndrome, on Flickr Love the pink helmet: Bootleg Poly Kamen Rider by Beautification Syndrome, on Flickr
I love the art work that goes with these KR episode guides!! http://www.h7.dion.ne.jp/~island/HobbyI ... 01_20.html http://www.h7.dion.ne.jp/~island/HobbyI ... 21_40.html
