Woodring's new tome is superb. 400+ black-and-white pages, seamlessly remixes three earlier works with new material. Consistent, logical, hallucinatory and highly recommended. https://www.fantagraphics.com/products/one-beautiful-spring-day
I ain’t a fan of the book itself. Am I the only one feeling like fantagraphics dropped the ball on this one?
As a big JW fan, I already have signed copies of the three individual books. There may have been some additional material, but I could not justifying getting the book. But it may be a perfect introduction for those getting the work for the first time.
