releasing at 11 am.... Clear pink Hawaii Mini-Zagoran by Gargamel! $40 each. Clear purple fade Pocket Mummy Gator, and Blue Glow-in-the-dark Pocket Mummy Boy! $25 each.
Wouldn't be the classic scheme without it, though! Brian, do you know if that black spot "means" anything? IIRC I first saw it on Hedorah toys and assumed it meant "toxic" or "pollution," like ... he's got black lung disease or something like that. Is there an origin story to the black spots on some of the Hawaii schemes?
but it's the black on the chest that marks it as hawaii! i'm so glad the mini zags still have some life left in them. this one is a must have.
Yeah, I knew that the black was part of the scheme. I just wish it weren't, because I love the scheme otherwise. That Mummy Boy looks fantastic.
hawaii looks so good on clear pink. so for gargamel, what has been released so far in the clear pink hawaii? standard walking hedo lb crouching deathra mini zag ......anything else? this zag is a nice addition, must obtain... oh yeah, and the pockets are nice too.
Distros will have the two Pocket figures, but the Zags are Super7 exclusive. The original Hedorah figures by Bullmark, both the Yellow Regular and Pink Hawaii have a black spray on them. As to why the vintage have that spray, there is no real answer, as the colors don't really match the character at all. I assume that they made it brighter to appeal to kids. So whenever we make s tribute colorway, like this Hawaii Zagoran, it matches the vintage spray pattern. I hope that helps.
Standard release (4) Standard walking hedoran Deathra (mini) lb crouching deathra New 2011 mini zagoran custom 2 that stick to mind. Koji sea shepard (1/1) Custom private/croucher) (1/1) Clear fullsize pink zagoran (1/1) Mibora (1/1) thanks mark.
Brian, Will we ever see a yellow regular mini or fullsize anytime soon??? The GID LB zag is so so so close. (Something like koji's custom) Bryce
that mummy and gator duo look great!! and that mini zag is pretty awesome as well...it's making want to start collecting them(dammit!).
the red and green on pink is fantastic. hopefully production runs start coming it with that scheme...
Well just from those one offs I'd say you probably won't see productions. I know G is usually not big on doing runs if they already do a one off. So that means the chances of seeing a production on clear pink with the green sprays is very unlikely for: full size zag, mini zag and crouching zag. Kiyoka has done one offs for all of those. Bryce, you can add this up above.
