Big thanks to everyone who participated and attended the show. It was a blast even though it left our back office in horrible shape. Special thanks to Lee and Kirkland for curating their asses off. Well done guys. Double extra special thanks to Josh and Alex for working overtime to get this all sorted. We are workign on getting the items from the show online. We wil have all the customs up tomorrow afternoon. The photos will be up by Wednesday.
Yeah, big thanks to S7 for putting together such an amazing event. Lee, I was happy to help out. Thanks for including me in the show and for introducing me to everybody. -Dustin
i have to definitely say thanks as well. i never thought i'd be able to have anything i'd done in a show at s7, let alone hear so much praise and encouragement for my photo. i'm planning on doing more pictures now, more then ever
Thank YOU, Lee, Kirkland and the Super7 staff. Jeez, what an amazing crew Brian has assembled. I had a great time Saturday night. Many thanks! I only wish I had taken the time to meet more board members and taken more photos.
Big grassy ass to S7 for hosting. Lee and Kirkland did an amazing job curating. And everyone that submitted something really did an excellent job. It was definitely one of the most fun shows I've attended.
Just returned from SF and the ICFSB weekend. One of the best times I've had in ages. I can't say enough about how exciting it was to visit S7 for the first time and putting faces to the names of a ton of people from the board. Lee, Kirkland and everyone from S7 know how to put together one damn fine party. The photographs and customs were like looking through a treasure box filled with splendid things. Some highlights... 1. Hanging with Joe on Saturday before the opening. This guy just oozes the crazy obsession we call toy collecting from every pore in his body. He still has that wide eyed enthusiasm of someone who has just discovered something new and exciting for the first time. 2. Rummaging through the cases at S7. Thanks to everyone at the store for all your help and putting up with my unending stream of questions. And a special thanks to Brian for our little sit-down in the office. 3. Photo-Op's with Kiss. 4. Paul Kaiju showing up fashionably late with a bag full of rummage sale/flea-market scores. 5. Scoring the coveted Plover Leafman photo. 6. Picking up three amazing customs from Redhanded, Uberboy, and Velocitron. 7. On my way out of town at 6:30 in the morning stopping by for one last peek into S7 windows. Thanks to all of you for a great time! all photos from http://www.flickr.com/photos/fiendsaintfamily/
thank you thank you everyone who came, helped, made art, watched online, called on the phone, or impersonated KISS!! It was a great turnout, and it seemed like everybody had a wonderful time. i certainly did! i am currently putting the amazing customs up on the webstore, but its just me at the shop today, so ill be a little slow, please bear with me. thanks again skullbrain!!!!
Ooooh, I put my thanks in the old show thread. But some of it bears repeating: This was a great show and a great time! A blast to meet all of you that I did meet, wish I'd met the rest of you as well. Loved all the work, will be studying and practicing for years both on toys and photo because of all the great stuff I saw. Great big fat thank-yous to our curators, the way helpful and totally cool staff of S7 and to Mr. Flynn for putting on this event!
Yeah I want to say thanks as well. I hope we can do it again, and I wish I could be there next time! s7 rocks! Phil
Helz yeah! Huge Thanks to Lee and S7 for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing Show. Great work by all. Way to kill it everyone!
