Introducing the Mudbelly.

Hi, everyone. Thank you so much for the orders. I was hoping I'd be able to ship everything today but had to deal with an emergency that derailed things, so I will leave it up through tomorrow afternoon and ship the orders on Wednesday.

I was notified that USPS rates are changing on July 9. I'm not sure if this will make international shipping better or worse but I will do my best to keep the rates on the store up to date.

You’ve priced Mudbelly very fairly - it is just international postage that is the issue these days - a total rip off.

Like the utility companies in the UK, moaning about increase in costs, using it as a justification to whack up the price consumers pay AND making record profits in the process.

 

Man I need to keep up on this thread so I can snag one soon... I love the green guy..

 

So it turns out the rates for the weights and methods I'm shipping won't be going down after July 9th. Sorry.

If anyone in the UK or Australia or anywhere else wants to coordinate a group buy when I have some more to sell in the future, please feel free to organize that and get in touch with me.

Thank you for making an affordable dino toy. This is my first purchase in 5 years, and my daughter is going to love it!!! Dino's are her favorite!

 

Just got my rainy day, I'm not sure what to use to link to photos, but the quality of the vinyl is almost shocking. Great sculpt cute little guy, I really love it. I'll figure out the pics and post photos when it gets in my daughters hands.

I'm in the process of bagging the third run of Wild Type Mudbellies. These did something unexpected, as pointed out to me by @3wing while he was painting them:



@hellopike let me know that they also fluoresce a bit under UV light. This was unintentional, it just had to do with the circumstances of the batch of vinyl used by @Zontar at the factory. (And he'll never have that recipe again...) Since the effect is so faint I'm not going to be advertising it. It will be fun if others discover this "happy accident" once they are out in the wild.

These are the last Mudbellies I will be selling until next year, but once the Colorado winter has subsided and Neil can paint again, I have two more color variants planned, plus more Wild Types, and there will be something pretty for everyone at the Marusan table at Five Points in June.

Because I love you, Skullbrain, I'm giving you a heads-up that these Wild Types as well as the remaining Meltdown and 55 Blue Mudbellies will be in the store on October 9th.
