New Christopher Nolan film (Memento, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight ) due out in 2010. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810099246/video/15201197
Hmm, looks pretty interesting. Is the music from the trailer the same as the first scene in The Dark Night?
a little bit excited for this one, probably going tonight. being into nolan and most of the cast would be enough, but it looks like bits of eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and the matrix set up as a heist and that almost gets me salivating. reviews are mostly positive save for detractors who seem left cold or just confused. i've been digging the film scoring from hans zimmer / zack hemsey today.
Completely stoked about seeing this. Anyone friends with me on Facebook should know. Trailer music is awesome (the long trailer thats like 2+ mins), but it is by Zack Hemsey. Zimmer is the one doing the actual movie score though. The whole score is great, especially "Time"
yeah i've been enjoying "mombasa" and "waiting for a train" and hoping the rest of the titles don't ruin plot too much, and even if it's not part of the score in the end those two minutes of zack hemsey are still awesome. i'll link all of the music since it seems to be streaming. http://music.zackhemsey.com/track/mind-heist http://www.youtube.com/user/InceptionSoundtrack
resinate, lucy and I saw Inception last night. It was amazing to say the least, and I can't wait to see it again. After watching this, I'd love to see Christopher Nolan write something with Charlie Kaufman. I think the combo would have the ability to explode heads.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Summer movies are usually crap so it was nice to see a Pg-13 summer movie...actually be a little bit intelligent. It's not a super complex movie but I definitely will see it again.
Just got back from this as well, definitely gives your mind a nice workout. The fact that he wrote this and then put it to motion is crazy, truly a masterpiece and intense.
just saw this.....wow. talk about a mind fuck. down the rabbit hole you go. now i'm not sure any of this real. am I in a dream? why do I have all these toys around me?
Saw it last night. It's amazing. We loved it. Will definitely buy it. Good job by Leonardo as well as he did in Shutter Island. But I like the sci-fi stuff better.
I was finally able to see it yesterday as well, and wow. Just wow. Amazing performances and an amazing movie.
While watching it I got the impression that it was not only the realization of a project that Nolan had long wanted to accomplish, but also that in a way, the movie was a love letter to the intelligence of the mass audience, a form of respect grossly missing from most big-budget Hollywood fare these days. Last year's "District 9" proved that movies with brains can find a mass audience. "Inception," same thing. It asks a lot of its viewers ... to be able to keep up with a challenging internal logic, to question everyday ideas about the nature of reality, and to consider a revisitation of some deep psychological principles. Thank you, Chris Nolan, for entertaining me while not insulting my intelligence, but rather provoking it.
