love that face. what kind of body you have in mind?
I would prefer a humanized figure, arms, legs, boots.... but that's just me. ;)

I'm interested in seeing this in the context of the full body, for sure.

I like how it makes for a nifty statue...but that's sorta not the "toy"-like sculpt I like. I like more prone positions (think like a Jumbo Machinder) so that I can play with the figure and imagine him in different situations. Statue-like sculpts like this that are pre-posed already have a mood and action in mind, and that sorta hurts the play value for me.

It looks great, though, and I'm sure more statue fans will love it!

that's exactly what i told him via pm, that it's more of a statue than a toy. sometime's it's a very fine line between the two, but you know when something's gone too far toward the statue status. anyway, i still like the texture and the facial expression.

Seeing the pose and the whole figure now, I do like the concept and idea behind this figure., and I think the texture is interesting enough. The whole figure as a composition; however, still does nothing for me, but that's my fault, not the sculptor's ;) . The statue-esque pose is not something I would put in my collection, but it is a perfectly valid choice. I don't think the head flows well into the body at all, and they look like they came from two different figures of the same character. There's something about the transition at the neck and the size of the head that just don't mesh.

I think you're right .... it is too much like a statue ... I think I will refer again.
I got carried away and unaffected by classical sculpture
...And now I see it among my other toys ... it is dissonant
