hey I'm flying out for the icfsb show, and depending on the driving conditions we may or may not rent a car. this is my first time going further west the p.a. so i haven't a clue.
Parking is usually bad in any major city...That being said..there is a lot of street parking and I've never had a problem parking in the garage across the street. I drive up from San Jose when I can and have never had an issue. Public transportation is top notch in SF and you can get around pretty easily with the help of taxis. My friends flew up last year for a bachelor party. They took BART from the airport to downtown in about 25 minutes or so. And from there we took taxis and pretty much walked everywhere. You'd be surprised at how small the city really is...(once you know how to get around). I'd rent a car if I was going to go outside of the city and needed it but you probably won't need one.
