The eyes ruin it for me

Good thing I didn't win!

 

Even though I like it a lot better than I did initially, I agree the eyes could use work. They could be so much more striking and sinister.

 

My problem with it is that I can think of so many better Godzilla / giant lizard / monster sculpts and space is an issue.
I'd rather keep a Bullmark, an M1, a Toygraph, a Gargamel/M1 (you get an idea of where I'm going)........

But if you win a lottery, this is a relatively inexpensive way to get a giant lizard.

So win/win.

 

This is exactly what I can't turn off in my head. Congrats to the winners though. I just need 5 minutes with this thing for my Gorilla Ju to kick it's ass.

This dino looks like a small sized dog, I can't believe how big they are. Anyone have Gorilla/Rex photos?

 

the more i see the tyranno the more i dig it i bet playing with it would sell me completely

 

I just noticed there's a tongue in the mouth and the tip is slightly curled up

 

I'll eat my words, it actually looks pretty fun. If only the eyes were different...

 

Would love to see a Mecha version of this one... and yeah, the eyes sorta bug although as I've said before, the sculpt has grown on me. Cool pics guys!

 

Yeah, you'd think that an ape (hairy or metal) would be the first thing people stack it up against. Bummer.

 

I think somebody was asking for a Goga pairing of the Tyranno dino for comparison, so here you go:

 

Arg, makes me want a Goga even more now!

I think it's a good sculpt and the eyes aren't an issue since if he does another release the next paint job may fix that though they are very animated. I'd like to see them just red with a white fleck.
I was surprised when I first saw it though because it's very dfferent to a lot of Eastern sculpts...it looks like that V-Rex from the King Kong movie.

Now I think everyone want it.

 

Looking at the most recent one, looks like HS did something about the "eyes" that most everyone disliked.

 

I still would have loved the green, but i do like this one a little more.
