Hey I was wondering if anyone was planning to attend the opening of the GR2 Post-It show this Saturday. I'd love to snag a piece from the show, but live in Austin. Hoping someone in the area can hook me up. I'm happy to Paypal in advance and send out a SASE to mail the duder back to me. I'm just hoping to snag one piece and have a list of artists in order of preference that I can PM. Thanks! Wish I could be there to see the wall myself.
DAMN! Missed it again this year... This is always a great show. Being tethered to my own gallery prevents me from, er, getting out as often as I'd like. But I think this is such a great idea and the roster is usually so very good. Looks like I'll have to be taking a drive up to Sawtelle very soon.
You can buy leftovers online, though you can't exactly pick which one. They have you list four artists and you get one in order of your preference from what's available. Mine's in the mail. Any of the guys on my list would be awesome: Martin Ontiveros Skinner Johnny Ryan Matt Furie
