damn, those are all amazing, especially that bangal custom joe posted\ hoping i can get one of the regular release ones, and also hoping for one to come out at SDCC.
KaToPe is awesome. I hope one day to own a piece and meet KaToPe. I love that one wearing the Zag shirt as well.
Had a chance to chat with Katope at the Horvath live painting event in Shinjuku. Really sweet guy and funny. I didn't even know who he was until he left and Koji told Jason and I.
we got there really late yesterday...sorry we missed a lot of you guys! the show was great and it was nice to be around friendly faces after travelling for 35 hours haha! the customs were really gorgeous and the shop is absolutely amazing...so much to take in and look at!
I want so badly any of the 2 gargamel shirted Bangals, Katopes Bangal, or the big head zeu zag or even the production Bangal...
incredible photos. I really wish I could see this in person. the NFS Zag is pretty much the coolest thing I've seen all year. amazing work Mike!
I'm so bummed I missed this show! I love the body switching and the creative mix of resin and vinyl in the customs. Congrats Mike on a fantastic showing!!! You can check out a glowing review from a popular Japanese sofubi blogger here>>>> http://translate.google.com/translate?u ... n&ie=UTF-8
These are some of the most original and fantastic customs I've seen in a good long while. Looking forward to purchasing a Bangal sometime in the near future.
Wow. I really don't think I've looked at photos of customs for as long as I just did. The mixed parts are so imaginative and the colors are perfect. The Hedo tank with the blue goo is especially amazing. I've always liked Mike's artwork, but I'm not a fan of resin stuff. I'm glad to see his designs transfered to Gargamel's sculpting abilities. Bangal looks like a great toy.
