Probably, there's been a guy from Singapore on eBay trying to sell last year's bag for... well, an entire year, at the same unwavering price. It kind of gives me a giggle each time I find it again. Edit: yep, all from previous years.
I went back and checked, it seems like we started to see some reveals on Feb 3rd last year. Hoping that trend continues.
Yes but last year Gargamel posted on 1/27/17 that the bags would be released on 1/28. This year no posts about the bags yet. So I don't know if that's going to be the case.
It does seems like it's been released later and later each year. With what little we know this year, maybe they have been busy or are keeping it hush hush for some special reason.
One thing I do find interesting, is the different content descriptions on the two sites that have bag info up. Ddr: 2 standard 1 small 3 pocket 2 micro Mintyfresh: 2 standard 2 small 2 micros
The price is 417 dollars. I think that's much more expensive than the last 2 times Did they add in some clear with guts toys and tons of painted runs? That's the only reason i can think it's remotely this expensive.
Mintyfresh's price is bonkers, that's almost $450 and I didn't even factor in shipping. Are the prices this insane everywhere?
You forgot to exclude VAT. They are charging more, but the Euro is also pretty strong against the dollar which further inflates the price.
So far I only only see Ddr and mintyfresh with the bags up. Ddr is by far the cheapest but they are sold out atm.

Beat me too it! Hopefully there won't be an issue with customs like last year. That really affected the shipping dates for a couple retailers.

First the contents of the bag, these are the exact details we got from Gargamel (Delivery obviously incorrect): Gargamel Lucky bag 2018 (Include : Standard size x2, Mini size x2, Micro x2) Delivery : January,2018 Then the Bad News: Dollar is weak a.t.m. Last week dropped like 0,10 cents in a day due Uncle Steve's comments and some ECB thingy's ( so I read) no idea if it will change on short term but don't count on it. Then good news, the price we had was not correct, it was set in the backoffice when Gargamel announced in 2017. Things have changed and after our banktransfer the wholesale price went down a bit so we are able to take the price to €309,95 incl VAT (€256 excl VAT) this is about $320 at the current exchange rate. Everybody that already placed an order will be getting the difference back shortly, so no worries about that. Most Non-Europeans are confused about the VAT, to be clear we don't charge VAT outside EU. But inside EU we are forced to show prices including VAT. And the Shipping for 1 Lucky Bag anywhere on the globe with tracking is €17,50, this is very cheap for 3000 Miles through the air. Seems like no matter what is in the bags the price is pretty consistent. Doesn't really change if there is more or less
From what I remember 2016 had 2 standard 1 small 2 pocket and 2 micro. 2017 had 2 standard 1 small 1 pocket and 3 micro.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept of VAT. Am I absolutely an idiot for never having heard of it until now? ...I blame it on being American, which in many cases might as well be synonymous with stupid.
Gotcha, I was counting the 2016 cat as small not a pocket and the 2017 walking killer as a small. But you're right, it's definitely more of a midsize.
