The new Pocket trio came with a character depicted on the back that has me scratching my head. Maybe Mightyn in a screaming/action pose or something. I'll probably be embarrassed when I find the answer to be something obvious, that just slipped my mind - but I'd rather know than be left wondering. Anynow, refresh me, who's this on the left:
Yeah, that struck my mind too - but this is the first time I'd purchased any Pocket's MIB, so I couldn't really judge if that were new or not. (and on many of my older headers, "Deathra / Zagoran / Smogun" aren't in plain English)
i believe that marusan original is somewhat based on ymir from a harryhausen movie, cant think of which off hand.
@Joe- I had the same thought when I saw that silhouette. That would be weird if Gargamel used a Marusan toy as source material. I guess they wouldn't be the first.
I thought of this thread(and had to look it up) when I noticed that the rokuron sillouette is on the back of the header for the clear yellow GID Zag. This zag came out 2 years before Gargamel released their Rokuran if I am thinking correctly. It is also a sillouette of this original figure. Sorry for the stolen pic Is this a common thing for gargamel to do? None of my other Zags have this header so I can't check them.
Smogon was on some header cards before Gargamel made him too. Seems less likely that gargamel would make a marusan character though since they're still around.
