Re: Gargamel Collections Awesome! I do have some gorgeous customs that have been painted over the original base vinyl color, but if you can score a custom that is just the original vinyl color with the artist's paint design accompanying, to me that makes it a tiny bit sweeter...
Re: Gargamel Collections Exactly! I think its much tougher to paint and let the original vinyl come through. @vombie- Thanks!
Re: Gargamel Collections Hey, on topic!! C'mon Choon, lets see a Gargamel COLLECTION pic !!! Can't wait to pick up that little bugger
Re: Gargamel Collections "the only gargamel that matters" re-united. moving forward now, but only much much slower. -g
Re: Gargamel Collections Wow Scott! Yove got some new gems in that shot. I see a Tokyo Micro Zag and a killer custom Pocket Killer only to name two.
Every time I see that picture it reminds me of all the pockets I still need. I love that picture, it really shows the variety of great toys gargamel has.
can someone (scott?) tell me about the silver hollis in that photo? i don't see it in the 'database', so i assume it's a custom. details please!
ack! that smogun (flesh with black) is too good! nice collection, Scott--lots of cool stuff in there!
I think I will side with the split smogies, those split paint apps mess with my brain in wonderful ways no matter what sculpt or scheme they are applied to, would love to see a production split app(i.e. a new paint app that mirrors itself with a negative)
Well that makes me wonder. Has there ever been a split down the middle paint job on any production Gargamel figure? It seems like getting that midline precise would take a lot of time and care. I agree that it would be fantastic if they release a split paint figure. I also like the idea of one side being the inverse of the other.
your right probably not right for a production piece, but a factory hand paint on the other would not be asking for too much allthough one could possibly cheat with a special paint mask
Thanks Tim! Finally get to appreciate the genius of Naoya Ikeda up close. Awesome! Earlier pic was kinda off-bluish dunno why. Here's an accurate shot.
