So where's my list of Skullbrainers who'll be coming in for FFF Fest? I know there's gotta be more than just redhanded coming. I know that people were just talking about Danzig Legacy playing at Riot Fest, but here's a chance to see him in the South around a bunch of sweaty hipsters, instead of up North with "over-privileged rich kids with mohawks acting hard" Anyway, I'm excited to see who else they announce, and will probably have to buy tickets soon since they'll probably sell out before the actual schedule is dropped in September. Just thought I'd put this out there in case anyone wasn't aware / had forgot, and perhaps we could do an SB lunch or dinner that weekend.
wow just wow thats more fun to be had than any bill that comes to mind sooo many great bands on there and not even the full line up? damn
I might really need to go back down for the weekend! For the fest and for some dog almighty. It's been haunting my dreams!
Wow, Legacy show here too!? I'm hoping he'll do one in LA soon. Wish I could come down for FFF Fest though! Seems awesome!
Just really looking at the full line up now... it would be a fucking disaster if I missed this. Danzig Negative Approach Slayer Eyehategod Death Grips No Bunny Major Lazer Flying Lotus Lykke Li Boris and so much more...
They have built it, you will come Come on down! I'm sure redhanded can fit you in his suitcase somehow.
I've gone for the past couple of years, so I'll probably be down there this year. I'm really looking forward to the Damned and the Murder City Devils.
Yeah, I didn't discover Ceremony until this Summer at Chaos in Tejas I thought I was being dragged to a Dillinger Escape Plan show, but was pleasantly surprised that we were only going for the opening band. The show was great, and now I'm in love. You gotta have a better excuse than that this year, all my vacation time is/was dedicated to SDCC, Fantastic Fest (8 day film fest), and a day off here & there for FFF & some other concerts. I haven't gone on a vacation/trip with since 09, haha.
Just bought my tickets a couple of hours ago. Does anyone know how will-call tickets are distributed, as in do they allow for pick-up days in advance? I opt-ed for student passes to save some money, but now I'm afraid I'm going to have to wait in a stupid line and miss some bands.
When I did will-call in the past, ticket pick up was available at Waterloo Records a day or two before the fest. I'd just gone there to avoid any annoying hot & sweaty line outside during the fest. Waterloo Records has pretty long hours, so if you're arriving the day/night beforehand, it should be a breeze.
Your avatar reminds me that I wish Have Heart would be there. In the meantime, since there's still plenty of time for you guys to become convinced & request off work, check out their video recap of 2010.
The schedule for FFFNites has been released. http://www.funfunfunfest.com/nites/ Stoked to see Mammoth Grinder and Toxic Holocaust.
