shadow of colossus, the whole metal gear franchise and deffinetly the same for monster hunter. I have loads but will add more later good thread
- Super Mario Bros. 3 -Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Kid Chameleon (never beat it, love playing) - Duke Nukem 3D (I even have it on XBOX Live Arcade.) - Mortal Kombat 2 - WWF No Mercy for N64 (they were wwF then right?) - Batman Arkham Asylum - Left 4 Dead series - Th Simpsons Arcade (I never beat it as a kid cause I sucked and didn't have enough money but FINALLY did 2 years back at a free arcade!) I dunno, that's the short list I guess. I loved most ultra violent shooters and fighters from the 90's and weird Genesis games. I like Red Dead Redemption too but haven't beaten it yet so I can't call it a "favorite" yet.
NIS games (Just don't have time for them So I mainly collect them now) Metal Gear Solid (Love all of them but Solid is my favorite) Resident Evil Series (Mainly 0-2) The Street Fighter Series Can't forget Professor Layton (I LOVE puzzles) I figured most of the peoples favorites would be games from older systems.
Awesome games guys! BloodDrinker: Games like MK2 and Doom and Duke Nukem will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I miss the days when games like those were shocking, and not just the standard, like they are today. Although, I can't wait for the new Mortal Kombat game to come out. Watching the trailers for it just gives me waves of nostalgia.
Also, Feel free to post photos of your rare game collections if you have them. My passion for collecting things totally started with video games before anything else, so I'd love to see what other people have. I'll post some pics of the games I have eventually....
Too tired to think about this too much, but I just remembered what I loved to play when I was younger.
mostly played computer games growing up, and even that was rare. lots of atari classics re-releases and math blaster. i haven't owned any system released in the past 10 years, and that's been great. emulators / roms have been enjoyable.
I can't wait for that! Well actually... seeing as how I've been waiting nearly a decade and a half, maybe I can actually wait for it, but I'm psyched at the news none the less .
I was just thinking about NBA Jam the other day. I'm not a sports guy, never was. But I played the hell out of that insane game. Big head mode was the best. Jordan and Pippen everytime.
NBA Jam was the best. My favorites to play with were Air Dog and Clinton. Another good sports game was Bases Loaded, I still play that game every now and then, oh and Double Dribble was also a good one. Some other good non sporty ones were Double Dragon and Ghouls 'n Ghost.
yep, the bulls duo was pippen and b.j. armstrong .. always pissed me off! the hornets and the sonics were my two go-to teams on nba jam .. shawn kemp was awesome
this is probably my #1 favorite of all time, one of the very few that i actually finished. chu chu rocket, r-type, wizardry, and plaque attack are a close second tier.
