Favorite shelf

The colors Grody Shogun has been using lately are really great. The purples, oranges, and cream colors happen to go very well with a lot of my other toys.

 

Figured a holiday party was a good excuse to do a themed shelf!

Worked on this shelf for a couple years. It's started off as kinda trying to group together some of my Splurrt/Secretoy toys that were painted with more organic colors. Like a nice burnt sienna kinda thing, and I guess it just kinda organically grew from there. It's been one of my favorite shelves for awhile but I still often catch myself admiring it. Thanks to the people here who helped me along the way. Y'all know who ya are!

Here's another fun shelf that I've spent a couple years working on. I think this one is prolly gonna change just a bit in the near future. One other guy keeps asking me if he can join the party. But I anticipate two new residents, that I predict, will also be eyeing up the real estate! Not sure just yet, but I'm thinking it's gonna maybe turn into two separate shelves? This shelf, like the Splurrt/Secretly I showed the other day has went through a series of seemingly organic changes. I think that might just be my favorite thing.

And @noeleaser, your PK shelf is a sight to behold. The clear and painted Dualbats side by side give it such a striking contrast!

 

Thanks @zindabad! I’m going down to the PK show in ABQ again this year, the show actually lands on my birthday! I’ll also be taking my son along. Even though he’s only 6 months old, he likes to stare at that PK shelf more than any of the others in my Detolfs. I’d love to score a new Boss but honestly, I’ll be happy with whatever I score! It’s always such a fun weekend..

Haven't had much time for toy pics or Instagramming due to becoming “unstuck” in time. However, I did finally put all my Dwellers on one shelf (not sure y they weren’t b4?). It made me feel rly nice. Here’s a hastily taken, crappily cropped/filtered picture to depict just that.

I'm trying to keep everything organized where I can. Some artists I have a full shelf of their stuff: Paul Kaiju, Retroband, TKOM, Skinner, etc. But this is my favorite shelf from my favorite artist, which is also the only artist I have multiple shelves of.

Why are all the toys I like the most so damn big?!?!?
