    agree.

some very cool features, but got a very corporate feel instead of a kaiju feel.

I love this new software. I have read a lot about php3.0 but it is way better than I thought.

I know it looks like shit but we can fix that in the next week. I actually think we can run multiple templates so people can customize how it looks. I know everyone love customization!

I noticed something that I really like...the size restriction on the avatar. Thank goodness for that!! I'm sure some dumbass is going to change the size restriction so the avatar takes up half the screen.

trying to post a balanced feedback

    I like
    friend or foe
    customization

    i don't like
80x80 pixel avatar (reason: kind of lost some people's identity. will miss some member's avatars in their full glory)

    why have this function?
can't see when you are logged in
choosing what English (is that for spell check?)

    have some thoughts
avatar to be 130 x180 pixel max instead (I think 80 is a bit too small and corporate)
more appropriate smilies to alleviate presumptions or miscommunication or get people mad.
have random banners approved/voted by all board members (would be cool to have them anonymous)
have warnings and temp bans to members who are misbehaving

80 for avatar is great, some people dont know how to resize their shit and its rediculous. Throws everything off.

I actually like bigger avatars too, but I guess I'm in the minority. Maybe they could be bigger, but a limit should be set so that they can't mess up the tables?

Heartily agree! . . . they just add to the visual 'clutter and noise' of the forum and don't aid the flow or legibility of the board. If it don't fit 80 x 80, resize or use sump'n different . . . if you don't have the ability to resize send it on over and I'll do it for ya no worries!

Great job on the transfer/update . . . . looking forward to seeing how the board develops visually!

The view new posts and unanswered topic function was on the old board too.

It's weird having the av's to the right though. The size limit on them is welcomed too.

Yeah, I'm not to keen on the poster's info being on the right.

Can we at least increase the 6kb size of the avatars? I'm having a nightmare trying to lose those last 2 kbs.
    80x80 is fine though.
