Venice toy museum.
Rosie is mad!
Have you visited? I'd love to go there. The owner is a lot of fun on Facebook. He's recently acquired a big Battle Cat and hung him on wire above the He-Man display.
Museum owner on the right ...
I was lucky enough to go this weekend (flew from Bristol, so no excuses - other than the cost!). It is mind blowing that this is one person's collection.
Ah, a fellow Bristolian?
And yeah, i'm amazed how much he has and curious where he gets the funds to pay for it all. I think he's been collecting most of his life, but even so, its very impressive.
Pretty sure this isn't a mascot / character but a design by a Chinese manufacturing company. He's pretty cute either way.
Dennis the Menace squeaker with articulated head (King Features Syndicate 1959).
I'm much more familiar with the British Dennis the Menace and his dog 'Gnasher' but i did have a few of the American Dennis collections when i was a kid. They were the single-panel comics like Marmaduke and the Addams Family ...
Amazing and I love it.
Different city; same cute vinyl
Gorgeous collection, thanks for sharing that!!!
Would love to spend an hour studying the Nintendo stuff up close!
I JUST NOTICED THE FF6 STUFF!
Are most of these coin banks?
EDIT: Never mind! I see now this is all much smaller than I imagined. So they are mostly tiny charms, not small vinyls.
No, it is 90% vinyl. Mostly "finger puppets" and small coin banks. But there are a few PVC figures like the FF6 ones.
Oh yeah, the little loops should have tipped me off.
Always a pleasure to see pics of your collection, so much to love. I like the stacked perspex boxes with risers too, looks really neat.
Thank you! Yeah they're great for small stuff. One day I'll get some cases for all the bigger stuff sitting in storage tubs
Vintage Palitoy floater, about 8" long. Made in England.
