Flea Market find
This guy is awesome!
Just love that buddha Moog! so cool~
^^ Yeah me too, i found out he was made by a company called 'Accoutrements' in the 90's.
Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds. These are made in Portugal.
Slowly finding this set at boot sales . . . i have two to go.
This is Juliette, i found her last Sunday.
Another nice boot-sale find for a few pence.
I assume they must of done lots of these for different sports . . . . I found a weight-lifting one a while ago.
Vintage Snoopy walker . . . 30p, found at Sunday boot-sale
I've had Woodstock for years . . .
Tails - 20p at boot-sale.
French vintage squeaky cat . . . love the sprays on this one!
Very nice, cute to boot.
I dub thee, Firecat!
Cross post from Mail thread. Not sure of year/manufacturer but I think 1980s maybe based on the tag design.
Love his pose!!
I'd like one!
I've had a look online and it looks like its made by a company called 'Epoch'.
(C) K / M · T · T Epoch plastic Moonlight Mask piggy bank tagged figures
(C) K/ M・T・T エポック社 プラスチック製 月光仮面 貯金箱 タグ付き フィギュア
My guess would be this is from the anime version from 1999, so this bank would be from around then.
The TMS stands for Tokyo Movie Shinsha.
Amazing, thank you Moog for the info! Very happy to have him in my bank collection, my largest one now!
^^ I've always meant to grab one of those . . . nice score!
I bought this one at a boot-sale on the weekend. It cost a couple of quid.
This very old man next to me politely asked why i was buying it and what was so special about it.
I explained it was made by Combex and i have a fairly large collection of vintage squeakers in general.
He just looked puzzled by my answer . . . .
I think he just couldn't believe a man of my age was buying such a knackered old toy if it wasn't worth very much
I had to clean it extensively cuz it was very dirty. I think its a pretty old even for Combex.
Beautiful, always loved Yogi!
Another boot sale find . . . the yellow one on the left. I've had the one on the right for ages.
Made by Tudor Rose in England. Probably 1950's. They are actually rattles for babies.
The yellow one has slightly different ears and no makers-mark on the back.
This thread is great inspiration! I love that French vintage squeaky cat. I always try to score neat finds like this stuff in this thread, but I don't ever seem to be as lucky!
Vintage figure . . . . by Ed de Vaillant - Paris.
50p at a boot.
I'd like to know more about this guy, he's like a freaky acid mickey mouse or something.
Moog, i think you'll like these guys!
^^ Love "acid Mickey" and these little glow guys!
I found out the acid mickey is a character from a french comic called 'Pif Gadget' . . . the toy was made in 1969.
His name is 'Placid'. Which sounds like 'acid' weirdly enough . . .
Those 'Lovely Little Pets' look great . . . here's one of mine that looks like the same sculpt as that mouse.
I think this one is from a series called 'Glow Friends'.
More boot sale finds.
Tony the Tiger
Pity his ears are chewed . . .
Fred & Barney.
These were in a huge pile of bagged-up toys that the seller dumps on the floor every week.
I found Fred first then two weeks later i found Barney.
moog, the glow mouse is from a line called Playful Pets.
Oh yeah, thanks mate
I was thinking of another glow toy-line.
