Johnny, thanx for the pics.... but now seeing it I wished you hadnt posted pics of it.... so jealous...honestly, an insane beautiful zyurai, my favourite ever Im afraid... C O N G R A T S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ jcat, that is a stellar Zurai Azu! One of the nicest paint jobs I've seen on a Cronic. Is that a one-off?
That's a really cool exploration of color on that Bakurasu. I think Naoki branch out from architecture into graphic design!
???? When did this come out? There was a photo of a Dream Rocket and Cronic collaboration Gumoz way back in early 2007, but I was told this never happened. Did they finally finish these?
I'll be damned, I didn't know he got around to those. Seems he's been in collab mode the last few months. Nice figure. Reminds me of the paint work on some of the earliest Cronic figures.
I saw 4 customs on (lottery and secret) sale and it was in July, I think. He explained that he would try to sell it on WF but not.
Thanks for all of the info! I can't believe this slipped under my radar... but I am ecstatic that their project finally came to fruition. @andy- Yes, the paint reminds me of one of the '05 Maverasu in your database, so I thought it was an old release for a while. But the base vinyl is black, which was not done by Dream Rocket until this year. @Flankenglott- I love the old marbled Cronic HPs and had that Gumoz on my want list forever and ever... until someone told me that they were never made for sale. Dream killer! ;P
got this in today (thanx !) was one of my most-wanteds for quite a long time. my camera only allowed me to take 1 pic before it "broke"...can take better pics tomorrow.... what is interesting to me is that it "kinda" has 2 different pinstripe colors...... you can figure that out on the belly and on the head......there is the main color GOLD("copper"-metalic Gold-mix if you want), and also "crossed" by Yellow pinstripes (non-metalic), and on the head you have yellow stars between the gold metalic pinstripes.... very interesting one in my opinion......
Definitely a top figure. I remember when it came out - classic piece. Congrats for finally finding one! :O)
