Faygo has been around since the 40's or 50's and it isn't all good, but the stuff in glass bottles is... Imagine if Jones Soda sold out, and started mass producing 2 liters of soda...

Well, I am really happy that this worked out for you. Something still seems very fishy though. There must definitely have been some kind of external pressure for slime like this to change his mind. As a newb this kind of brings up something i've been meaning to ask. the sb boards rules advise buyers against sending paypal payments as gifts, but looks like many people here use/prefer gift option Any seasoned advice on this? Dont wanna be a jerk to sellers but Looks like it would be worth getting into the habit of insisting on non-gift options.

No toy is worth that sort of insult. How old are you? Maybe it's my age but I don't have a tolerance for that sort of thing.
Basically, you should hardly ever use gift on payments over $100 (unless it is someone very trustworthy, like Carl, Mark, Kirkland, etc.) If you are buying from someone, maybe check how active they are on the forums. If they contribute a lot, they are probably trustworthy. Make an educated decision but really the paypal fee isn't all that much and it (theoretically) guarantees safety for both sides
I couldn't agree more. Seriously fuck the guy that sent the rocks. His track record is horrible. Take him down! This is just going to happen to someone else in a few months.
I'm a little more trusting of people here than I have been anywhere else... It takes a little effort to get in here, why work at a scam, when the KR board is ripe and open for the pickings... That said, if anyone won't let you pay an extra 5 dollars, to send it as a buyers payment, than somethings sketchy... I think having a good reputation here is worth way more, than you could ever get from scamming a quick toy... If someone is here everyday, it's part of their life, and most people don't want to risk getting kicked off the board, so they play fair.
