I picked up a clear zag from the Subcarism show, then later decided that clear doesn't match any of my other toys. So I dyed it orange, rubbed on some yellow paint, and spray painted it. Now it goes well with my all orange shelf.

The dust effect was hard to pull off. I had to get a special brush and everything.

That Zag would look nice next to the Melty Creamsicle Hedoran I did.

So did the dye not have any effect on the white paint of the eye / teeth? Or did you retouch it afterwards?

I tried to dye in a gradient, so the bottom is darker than the top, in hopes of not messing up the eye and teeth. It went fine until I had to boil out the excess dye. I was dying some resin pieces I was working on first, and didn't bother changing out the water. There's a slight orange tinge to the eye, but nothing much.
