Cue Weezer "say it aint sooooo--u-o-u-oooo" When does the Bay Area Skull Krew get their own space on the board?Huh?
BASK eh? Sounds RAD!!!!! Remeber to make the Franchise check out to LASK..still waiting on teh BoSK check tho...and LoSK....
Uh, I guess you would have to know that no MC can start without potioning the Hells Angels, and you cant wear a california patch on your vest because the H.A. allready claim California as their turf.BAd joke, sorry.
Why fix what isn't broken here, in this Mutonish place? Don't emasculate the minute... Unless you want to go corporate.
Rick pointed out at an early meeting of LASK that we are more like Hecks Angels, than Hells Angels. And we are still deciding whether our vests/jackets should be denim or satin.
Well the already deemed me "Director of Operations" and Josh has started wearing suits to work. So... The changes are gonna be kinda minor for this forum. On the other hand my forum is gone: mashed-up whatever.
Thanks for the positive comments guys, and also teh Hell's Angeles inside track info (watchout for Lokash, a man in teh know!). Tomorrow should see a new more LA-centric forum. I get awfully sentimental thinking about MM going away, as I've had a ton of fun posting my shit here - and from time to time when things got weird, kind of hiding out here. And in all this time; only one threadlock! For newer people on the board, Ramos bestowed the forum on me in April 2006 - alongside Glenn's forum (the unforgettable Pogue's Platform) and the sadly missed "Ask Cesar" - where Cesar gave us his unique worldview - and answered questions only he can answer in his unique no-nonsense no BS style. I looked back and found my first post on the forum and here's what it said: "Finally a chance for ultra long ideallistic posts about all being one family and living in peace together on the boards, oh and nostalgic vintage music posts......and stuff about being unhip...and hating Mickey Avalon...and.. " And with the exception of Mickey Avalon, who I promtly forgot about, I think I kept my initial promises. SO thank you Isaac for MM and for Skullbrain, and thank you Brian for continuing with teh good ship Skullbrain and giving us all a place to while away teh hours (and constantly type teh instaed of the). The good news is I am told the new forum will be LASK titled, I will still get to bring my unique form of gentle moderation and the articles in here will roll into it. So, expect big things from teh LASK Krew in 2008 - and remember: If it's happening in LA, YOU probably READ IT HERE FIRST!!! Cheers, Carl
