the size and details are definitely influenced by the nakajima tiger mask figures but the head doesn't look like the postcard art. its based off new original turnarounds and the the cover of pp#2.

the masters had to be redone due to the recent events in japan, but only caused a minor delay. test shots will be revealed in april.

but.....
i totally want the figure to have black undies, kneepads, and blood!

I have that MOTU-style custom of CFF in my head. For some reason, I had my heart set on that.

 

I don't get it, it that a knock on Prisonpit, or a general statement of love for Superjail?
Besides similarities in violent prison life, this guy has nothing to do w/SJ.

I may just be stupid, and missing something.

I am, that's why I'm asking... I know JR attributes SJ as an influence but... Maybe I just read into things to literally, what am I missing.

i love prison pit and all of johnny's work over the years.
i love super jail.
i love neckface.
i'm sure i like whatever else people might think it looks like.

i've never made any association between any of those things, but people unfamiliar with pp/ff are naturally going to reference what they know, so thats ok.

I didn't read into any of the comments as being negative, but if they are o well.

 

i wasnt joking about SJ. and im not knocking anyone...

i dont know the whole lineage behind Johnny either. the figure looked like something we'd see on the show and i didnt know there was or wasnt a direct relation between the two.

so shoot or sue me, but pick one and make sure you get it right the first time.

Speaking of SuperJail, Season 2 starts tonight.

I think the Neckface comparison is a compliment, but when I made it It was more of a question, as in "Did Neckface's work inspire this at all?" If someone mixed up my artwork for something that Pettibon did I would be stoked, but that's just me. Regardless I love this guy, and the fun of letting people know that you just got Cannibal Fuckface, is worth the price of admission alone, in other words, WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

He is 7.5 inches tall.

 

Yeah not to sound lame, but I love the simple typewriter font used on the foot...

 

He isn't talking about the font, he has history with Chad and is happy to see the name again. And the font is what everyone gets.
