One of my favorite aspects of toy collecting are the corresponding graphics...I have a collection of Japanese kids books, usually the ones printed on thick cardboard. Anyways, here's a few I picked up several days ago...
Have always love these covers. Has the same visual impact as their anime. Its like this dynamic burst of graphics, colors and action.
2nd picture, upper left corner-- who is that monster that seems like he's maybe half-booska, half-kanegon but with hammerhead shark-eyes? did they make toys of that? the books look cool, are they stories? or just picturebooks?
I have no idea who that ugly little guy is... Most of these books are just photos from the show, sometimes there's a story that follows an episode. The one with all the question marks is unique to me, it has a lot of puzzles and match up type games inside. These four are all full color printed on heavy cardboard, meant for young children. The same crazy colors and cheap/fast special effects carry over to the inside too. Sometimes they came with sticker sheets
