Re: It Came From ... I must agree with the above comments, once I purchase an object, I can do anything I want with it. I don't see anybody getting rich selling RxH customs....I just don't get it. BTW tan-ki, I like what you did with both of these pieces.
Re: It Came From ... again...the Solids were made before Katsura-san said no more customs (Blobpus is the same way). all this stuff sounds like new news to most but some of us have known this since mid to late last year. Once again....out of sight, out of mind...learn to read between the lines and do not post what you think I mean cause it is probably correct. some people are allowed to paint RxH but for the most part, the rest of us are not. where the hell is datadub to help clarify!! oh...tanki...that kanegon is really cool!!
Re: It Came From ... This all left a bad taste with me! After spending thousands of dollars,my money has surley went elsewhere. When I buy something I feel like I can do what ever I want with it.I paid for it,so that makes me the owner right?
Re: It Came From ... what a wrong vision of toy, DIY doesn't mean anything for you ? revue your market plan because your attitude sucks, even your the boss of real head, this attitude sucks .......
Re: It Came From ... I indeed admit not to understand the debate which built up itself around my customs and around the RxH. Personally I only see there a support to paint, I don't care about the origin of the toy if I like the shape. If now we need authorizations to be able to paint on such or such piece ... I'm afraid for the artistic creation!!!!!! I find this idea really incomprehensible and archaic. Thank you for your positive comments!
Re: It Came From ... Tan-Ki your customs are so nice ! You know what I think : Ca déchire grave sa race !!!!!! I will continu to give to my favorites artists RxH toys to customise ! I'm an artistic terrorist !!! Hehehe ! Who can stop me ? +++ Nikemsi
Re: It Came From ... Bert, I think you are mis-interpreting things. while it is known that Mori does not want people to paint RxH customs and sell them, I think it's a stretch to state categorically that there is some kind of "ban" on anyone painting RxH figures and showing pictures of them anywhere on the planet. We have all given Mori customs and i've seen them in the shop.
Re: It Came From ... Having gotten away w/ it myself I will endeavor to find out the S7 line on this. I was only told that the RxH was not to be allowed in the show not a bout a general ban on posting images on the board. But then I'm sometimes bad. BTW the customs are gorgeous Tan-Ki!!!!
Re: Kaiju Blasphemy (p.4) Very beautiful customs, especially the Kanegon and this one above (sorry, I don't know what toy it is --still a newbie at this). Very imaginative and remind me somewhat of Oaxaca folk art and Japanese pattern painting, rich in feeling with lots of flow, and a nice dash of whimsy too! Nice to see a fun side in addition to the fierce side, in Kaiju toys. Will the Kanegon be at the upcoming April 18 Super 7 Imagery of Japanese Toys?
Re: Kaiju Blasphemy (p.4) The custom above is for this show : Thank you for your comment! painting Kaiju is more and more a pleasure for me! And yes! the Kanegon will be in the ICFS show
Re: General Kyoufu Custom Teaser (p.4) I really enjoy seeing your customs Tan-ki. It's always refreshing to see a unique take on figures from an artist. The Kanegon in particular is just outstanding! Nice Job! PS I really hope that the RxH ban is not true...that would be really disheartening.
Re: General Kyoufu Custom Teaser (p.4) little teaser of my custom fot the blobpus contest.... more to come soon...
