I see Bob's Big Boy in those pictures.

 

I see where he got that.....the katakana is missing the dakuten (or ten-ten) to make "ku" read "gu", so it reads Biku Booi in the auction. For some reason the seller put "Pepushi" (Pepsi) in the title, too.

 

When I went to Japan in '98, I saw lots of American vintage toys in stores!

 

Still are, in fact. Even in Harajuku and Nakano...stores solely devoted to American toys/collectibles.

 

that one in harajuku, spiral(??), is packed to the gills with american 80's goodness.
