This happens to me all the time. I doubt you're stupid so maybe you have undiagnosed ADD. Get diagnosed and you have an excuse for all kinds of spacey behavior and the treatment kicks ass.
ADD is a self esteem issue. It sucks for competent people to consider themselves "stupid" and be down on themselves. Health insurance helps on prescriptions though (if your lucky).
Spaced it and I don't have ADD, I just have a job that takes my focus away from my alternate universe.
