yeah 65 bux is fuckin lame for a shirt...but you get a little secret base cup too hahahaha if the shirts werent so damn much id buy one just to get the figure for one of ya'll that missed out... its like buying one of the boxsets without the box, jus shirt and figure
just stopped by SOS and they had one blue brain left and i tried to score it but they wouldnt let me without buying a shirt. they said the "sale" ended yesterday where you could get one without the shirt.. bogus
It seems exactly what they are doing is trying to move over priced shirts because they can't move them otherwise. This is really a BAD business tactic for sure. Too bad, they did this to themselves ! Sounds like they try to cash in on extra shipping charge too. Reputations mean alot.
I will never buy anything from them again on principle alone....That being said i have one coming from Japan thanks to a fellow brainer who had the nuts to hook me up!!For 65 shipped no less...R.F.S.O!!!!
I had some pretty major price tag shock at the BxH shop in Harajuku last year. $65 sounds about right for one of their shirts. So it's not like $65 is an outrageous price (relatively speaking) for limited shirts from Japanese boutique shops. But that's not the issue. It's SOS forcing customers to buy (I'm assuming) stale inventory to get a hot product, and that's the kind of thing collectors get incensed about and remember. What I don't understand is their intransigence over shipping policies, which they follow very strictly. Bottom line: retail is harsh. Very very harsh. Customer service is 100X more important than a shop's ability to procure highly sought after products. Super 7's customer service is among the best I've ever seen from an e-tailer. No surprise their stock regularly sells out within hours.
This isn't a price issue, if it were I wouldn't own a bxh cap or various other articles... And I wouldn't collect expensive little toys. Its a shady store tactic of forcing people to spend more money in their shop on items they can't move, buy attacthing them to a sought after item.
Yeah that's pretty much what I said. Anyway it's a big Internet, and fortunately there are options. But the nature of the beast is there are far more collectors than figures at this point, so we're all going to miss out sometimes, and get lucky at others.
I understood that.. just wanted to make sure the point wasnt the price of the shirt.. the shirt could be 10 bucks.. it would still be lame Granted id probably have bought it then lol but ill go without till i find one through another source i'll pay ebay mark up instead of ever shopping at span again i was debating one of the cheshire cats.. but not anymore
after seeing them post the pics off the forum maybe shady of sunset will also be reading this and realize they lost a large chunk of the customer base
i imagine naturalterminator's post might be somewhat amusing if they were at least a tad bit coherent.
It's not about fuck tshirt shops, it's about having the choice to buy a toy without having to buy a tshirt to get it, if that's how secret base sold them like with the Fear of 13th sets that would be one thing, but TT and S7 don't pull that kind of shit with a regular toy release, so why should span? NT whoever you are I know your just full of shit trying to have a little joke about everything, and that's fine, but I think even your sarcastic shit talking misses it's mark and becomes entirely pointless.
i love aphex twin and i'm placing bets on the whole identity thing i wish there was an ignore button here
