This line has been killing me. I love them all so much. Very Vinyl paradise chunky charm!! Is it weird they’re all vinyl wars but also all lottery? I’ve been trying to track down what I missed but also wonder if a wider release will come?.
Bit strange, for sure. I can only speculate at this point, but wonder if more limited releases are also leading to better quality, since some board members have had iffy experiences with the paint on earlier Medicom Anraku releases.
I'm not the right person to ask; I just remember people found some of them lacklustre in terms of the scheme or application earlier in the thread.
The original Goga runs had some pretty mediocre paint and jointing. They definitely got better over the following releases.
This one is probably my favorite so far out of all of the vinyl wars releases. Sadly, I missed out on this one. Does anyone know if AA plans on releasing more of these vinyl wars godzillas in different colorways in the future? I really hope they do! I love the chunky gojis as well, they remind me a bit of Toygraph Godzillas (RIP).

Yes! They also remind me of Vinyl Paradise. I really like that chunky style of sofubi gojis. Not too many toy makers do that style these days. M1go has godzilla releases/sculpts that I like as well. I love their godzilla suit! And yes! Thank you! I how that you'll find the one that you're looking for as well. That is why I do hope that they re-release these same figures in different colorways for those of us that missed out on some of these! I would also love to see some bright colors on these sculpts; although, I do appreciate these color pallets as well.
Seems like the vinyl wars Godzilla’s really hit the auctions sites pretty hard. All of them seem to get put up for sale pretty fast EXCEPT of course that first dang blue metalic one I need and can’t find! ..
also loving his Hedorah. I was very tempted by M World yesterday when it popped up. But I think they wanted around 400 dollars for it.
Now I'm confused. I'm guessing/hoping that @jl posted a link to the actual Anraku Hedorah and that @taviq is just fuckin with me. That's to say, I don't care for the first one (marmit?), but love the second one. Not that it really matters because I'm not buying...
Where’s the joint? It has that weird soft 3-d sculpted texture that makes it look like the wax was overly smoothed/melted. I’ve seen some complaints on insta lately that these final products are not matching the advertised samples.
Got my finger goji the paint apps are not as expected there seems to be rushed also several scratches Before getting out of the bag. The metallic greenish teal is getting kind of over used on his medicom releases. I do like the sculps and hopefully this next two releases are better painted...
Haha @Russblue11 love the description and actually love the puckered sphincter mawed toy too. Also confused with @JoeMan about lack of joints. Could this be just the digital model made up to look like it was sprayed? What is the story with the design? Is it AA's take on Hedorah or an older unused concept of the official character early on? Japan only release? I'm so out of the loop. EDIT: Hadn't been on his blog in a long time there are a lot of other images on there from various stages of development so you can see it better and understand joints. The translation of the name of this specific version is "(Anime version in the play)" Anyone know what that means?
