They have this at Span now - http://www.spanofsunset.com It goes on sale on the web at 3, which is about 5 minutes!
It is up now. Got me a L set. It would have been nice to get it from TT for $110.00 shipped, but at least I was able to get a set. I think one 13th set is enough for me, and this Bee looks much more radical than the first 13th release. I like this T-shirt more as well.
Ok, i'm being good and not buying the new release, but if someone wants to sell me the shirt on its own i'd be more than happy to buy an XL or L at a push (i'm a lanky streak of piss you see). thanks
I got my set from Secret Base. I'm still trying to figure out the design by takeshit? Can someone help me understand it? Also if you order the set from a US company does the post card have the Skull Bee stamp on it?? Thanks,
I will try to post a picture tomorrow from work. Last time I tried to post a photo it said my file was too big. If I can't send me your e-mail address in a message and I'll send you pictures of both my post cards and my current collection since being in Japan. I'm in the Navy and when my family gets here all my figures will arrive also. I was told by the clerk at Secret Base if you get all four sets with post cards stamped you will get something extra????? I have no idea what it is and don't know if I'll be able to get it. I'll be in Hawaii for the June release and I'm very worried about not getting it. We'll see..... salvation101@hotmail.com
damn there is another reason I need to move to Japan!!!!!! I love how they are always giving free surprises and stuff, oh and the lucky bags are so much fun!!!!!!!! the culture in Japan is awesome!!!!!!!
Everyone should go toy hunting at least once in Japan. You can get pretty cheap flights during the offseason. Yeah you may spend $1,500 on the flight, hotels, and food (less if you're frugal and careful) but I reckon that's not a huge sum in the context of the amt of money folks spend on their collections. IMO, an experience like that is worth not getting anything new for 6 or 9 months.
that is very true and I have thought about it that way but then I fucking always end up buying some toy 5 min later!!!!!!!
Living Dead, Are you on a ship or are you shore duty in Yokosuka? I was stationed there on the USS Midway from May 1990 until just before the decomissioning in San Diego. That was way before my toy obsession, but I loved Japan.
I'm here on shore duty. I did a year and a half on the Independence then when she decomed I did a year and a half on the Kitty Hawk, then I did three and a half years on shore here. After that I went to FL for three year and in March I returned for shore duty here. I have been out shopping twice now (April 13th and May 13th). There are so many shops in Harajuku and Shibuya alone. Mandarake, Bounty Hunter and I just read about OriginalFake. I haven't been there yet, but I will soon. They are just the stores with big names. They're millions of little ones all over, but you really need to know what you are looking for. I walked past Mandarake a million times before I figured out what is was. I keep hearing that on June 4th Pushead will be at the WCC. Anyone have any info on that??
