I’ll have to take a look at the header again. I didn’t catch that! I did see Knuckle sculpted this as well, though.
Takeshi did the header art and I'd presume production was handled by the same factory as Secret Base (keeping it in the family).
@Anti Social Andy I seem to remember these were designed by Hiddy's brother. Do you know for sure? Also... Is Knuckle his brother? Shame there are so few of these and also the Hunchback, which I picked up in 2009. I can't remember who I traded that to and don't have my photos from that time. Anyone have a decent photo of the Hunchback? Dr. Tongue still here? I think he had all of them. Would be cool to see all the ones that came out. My favorite is the unpainted.
The Frankie was designed by a dude named Saga, I believe. Knuckle sculpted it. I do believe Kenny is Hiddy's brother, though the misconception for a while was that TWIM is Hiddy's brother. I've yet to see a Hunchback in hand, though I do have access to one.
Designed by SAGA-Chang not Kenny. No, it's Hiddy and Kenny that are the brothers. There have been around 25-30 versions over the years . . . some nice diversity in amongst 'em without being overly complicated.
Thanks @Anti Social Andy Thanks @xSuicide Squadx Is Kenny same guy as PM Ken? Videographer of the Cocobat Joe promos? Those promo videos are to this day so ahead of their time. Wish there were more. Sad the Microcroc S7 exclusive never came out.
I asked talented local artist Dski One(@ thedevilskiaju on Instagram) to paint up the GID Mad Frankie I’d come into. All I requested specifically was traditional Rat Fink colors. He came back to me with what I’ve dubbed Digger Von Finkenstein. The plaid shirt is simply breathtaking. I can’t believe how perfectly accurate he got the flannel lines on every crevice of Knuckle’s sculpt. The white wall tires was a really fun touch, too.
