Did a small coverage post on the Lulu site about Paul’s event at Gunnzo with Bwana and Rampage. Feel free to take a gander if you’re thirsting for, what I hope, are detailed photos of the many amazing offerings. https://lulubelltoys.com/blogs/news/summer-slime-2018-gunnzo-store
Thank you, dude! Glad you were there bear witness to the awesomeness yourself!! We missed you and several others dearly, but I’m glad I could provide a smidgen of a look - see!!!
@xSuicide Squadx Thanks a lot for the thorough coverage Robert, your pics are fantastic. I can almost smell the tacos!
Thanks, Eric! The Ghosts are SO awesome in hand, dude. I’m so stoked Paul’s made them an official mascot toy! And Happy Birthday!!! Thanks so much, Deb! Wasn’t quite the same without you and a handful of other very missed faces, but I did my best to bring somethin’ pleasant to the eyes!
It was a real bummer to miss this but it’s been captured so well can’t help but feel like I was there thanks Robert
This Thanks for the pics Robert. They always help ease the sting of missing those killer events out west.
I love those mini balloon dogs!! Anyone want to send me theirs? I will make sure they are fed and walked everyday!
You were heavily missed by everyone, man. Hope DCon will be a sure thing! Thanks, dude! I’m from Phoenix, so it was actually pretty damn nice for me, and I think everyone else good, too! Thanks, Tim! Hope you can make it out someday! Thanks a bunch, Sam! I’m glad it eases the sting of absence, but we still feel the sting of your guys’ absence from the show!
Superb coverage, Robert. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this, and for sharing it with us here. With the many events that now go on, this honestly seems like one of the most chill and fun - which is right up my alley. Looks (and sounds) like a great time was had by all (okonomiyaki forever!! ) and the toys were just one part of that. Bwana's table was as colourful as ever, and for anyone who missed it, I highly suggest checking out some of his cardboard improvisations. Love to see Jon's stuff there too, wish I could have manhandled that Goji. All around excellent event, for fans and artists alike; wish I could have attended - but this coverage is definitely the next best thing.
Thanks so much, Steve! I'm very relieved that the coverage is good, and most relieving, appreciated! It took a good handful of hours to compile something proper, but noting in comparison to the efforts put into this event. So it was more than worth it! Out of all the events I've attended, I must concur that Paul's Gunnzo gigs are the most lax and all around fun I've attended, though I did miss events like Splurrt's "Decayed", which I feel would've been on par! Even still, having Bwana and Jon along for the ride certainly did add that much more fun to the already enjoyable mix. Hope that someday you can attend one of these events and we can all appreciate your presence with us!
Here's a pic of my pick ups! Lovely event with good low key vibes. I was surprised at how little excitement this Gojira seemed to get. I was extremely excited about it and it was pretty much my sole motivation for making the 3.5 hour drive. And the little bodiless baby matches perfectly!
