Skullbrain's own beloved and longstanding member, @plastichunter, put his blood, sweat, tears and soul into a very unique show he dubbed "The Painter's Show". The idea, if I remember correctly, was to sort of bring back the idea of olden days, where, independent artists would customize other artist's figures. Many artists that we appreciate and heavily covet today got their bearings wet by the aforementioned methods of expressing and showing off their airbrush skills by utilizing blanks from various artists in Japan! I cannot stress enough how much time and effort Connell put into this show between curating and perfecting the presentation. Many, many, many thanks also go to Amy of Lulubell for her tireless efforts and assistance, making sure every aspect was covered, and for, of course, providing the venue for which the show was housed to begin with! LOTS of photos to follow!!! Spoiler
sigh... this reminds me of the good 'ole days, when Super 7 Japantown had these types of shows! Love the pastel candy smiley faced paw.
...and all the tradefests that went on afterwards! It was so much fun to see everyone's piles of toys, and everyone at S7 was super nice!
