@Lixx , good to know that many of these toys are pulled from the same mold. I keep forgetting that! I like a lot of the vintage colors, especially the Hawaiians. I will definitely have to look at some of the neo Kaiju. The giant size Bullmark reprint (KS version) Gomora with Tokyo tower is a perfect example. And yes, it is nice to have pristine toys standing next to the vintages! (and less bankrupting ;))

I decided to break out the other 4 from storage for a quick outside shot of my whole herd. It was an utter pain in the ass going through all 4 tubs but I found them (my real reason was to nab boots/belt off a reissue Kamen rider villain for a incoming vintage Spiderman- which seems to be stuck in a black hole called Chicago Metro Hub of USPS). Anyhow back to storage the 4 go but it was fun to take toy photos again (outside my fave) with the new camera:

Wrinkles and diamond monsters forever! I mean what's not to love? Vintage toys- check, Reissued in OG colors and really nice new colorways- check. Big crude sculpts- check.

Simply gorgeous man. For all those reasons you mentioned and then some. I am truly in awe of that Huk' family. Space monsters FTW.

Now I really want to come over and join in the fun!

The textures on this smoggy creature are just beautiful. And now that you've mentioned the melting crayons, I can't think of a better way to describe both the base vinyl, and sprays. I've one other version on the way, but this is my favorite I've seen yet!

@Mr. Humphreys Seriously have been seeing a ton of these old Space Kaiju pop up everywhere lately, which is weird because for years I was looking for them and could never find any for sale. So now is the time I guess!

@Lixx , It definitely would be, and I spied two I would love to adopt, but I am on a no-buying period for Lent. After Easter is another story! :D

My first one, most certainly won't be my last! Wow, I feel like a dork for knowing about these for so long, and not givin' 'em the attention they deserve. Such a fun, and creatively simple sculpt, with matching sprays to boot!

Some of the best textures I've ever seen in toys. Especially the transitions from smooth to rough on the walking Hedoran and tire monster Smogon!

What's so great about these sculpts is that they feel so good in one's hands. Just makes one want to run one's hands over the rough textures. Similar to a Bemon and other rough sculpts. Distinct alternative from lots of sculpts with smooth clean lines (which are great too).

There were a bunch of Hukkokudos for sale on Mandarake recently, many of which were new to me. I suspect they were either production samples or low-run versions sold from Hukko's blog. Maybe someone here can help with identification.

EDIT: FYI, I am not the guy selling the expensive Hukkos on the Bay.

I put up a gallery with my photos and some of the photos pulled from the sale: https://flic.kr/s/aHskQNFUg3 Sorry they're not great photos.

Here are a couple of the most interesting:

This Zagora matches a sample from a preview photo in Hyper Hobby from early 2007. As far as we knew, it was never produced, and this could be the same figure from the photo.

That Zagora is perfect. The sprays are so clean it makes it difficult to tell if the base is green(I'm assuming it is) or purple. And that Smogon is probably my favorite I've seen to date!!!
