@Blake thanks. would've love him to continue making them with gargamel again. campfire was the only one i had my hands on.
I've been posting so many pics of things I'm selling recently and it's kinda bumming me out, so I really have to post a couple of pics of things that are staying in my collection. I'm sure I've posted these guys in the past, but I don't care. I love these two.
Had my eyes on this guy for years.. one of the rare fight figures that have caught my interest. Surprised at how squishy the clear vinyl is.. actually it was very clammy (not quite sticky) - kind of hard to get him out of the bag. Can anyone confirm that this release's clear head is supposed to be like that? View this post on Instagram
The early brains (Pprototype, Walder, Plant, Basexbase etc.) were all squishy Brains. From the GID onwards they were the more rigid vinyl. The SDCC Andy Brains had squishy Brains as a nod to the OG's!
I have the black "prototype" Skull Brain and the first painted release Skull Brain, still bagged and headered, as well as this Gargamel collab. Even the untouched Brains have a stickiness and discoloration to 'em. This is a great fighter, though.
This guy is gonna sit on the shelf and hopefully collect a nice thin layer of dust to combat this sticky issue
Here is what i grabbed from my trip to NYC, my very first Gargamels ! I have no idea what they're called but they have glitter, and glitter is good. Also excellent picture quality
Hi guys I'm pretty new to collecting vinyl so was wondering if anyone could help. I've seen a Zag for sale but listed with limited info and doing a bit of digging around SB I think it's the blue harawata version that's dark blue with silver sprays and the guts look painted white. Can anyone tell me a bit more about this toy? And what would be a fair price for one (trying to make sure I don't overpay if I go for it) Hope it's cool to ask that kind of thing on here but if it's not please let me know. Cheers!
Personally . . . $100 would be a bargain - $200 would be a pass, but it's all subjective, if you feel like yer being ripped off, don't pay. Overpaying is a n00b right-of-passage.
Cheers Andy. Haha I get that and I dont mind having to pay a bit more till I get deeper into collecting. But being UK based its already an expensive hobby! It was $280 which i suspected was a little high. Think I'll look around a bit more. Thanks for the guidance!
There are only a small handful of standard Zags that you could be paying more than $200 for. Everything else should be sub $200, You will also need a lot of patience as Gargamel collectors especially Zag collectors hold on to their collections.
My first Zagoran was a Lucky Bag 2011 GID that I got for $65, brand new in bag, from Mandarake. Cheap Zags occasionally pop up for sale just about anywhere. Be patient and you'll be rewarded!
