    Thanks @boon velvet I've never been armed with a decent camera to take pics with! While I'm no professional photographer, it's already clear to me (pun intended) I maximized the limits my old Lumix point & shoot and just by using the most basic auto settings of this Nikon it's world apart. Can't wait to get down and dirty and use the 300mm zoom it came with to get some wildlife (bird) shots.

    Lovely photo indeed @Lixx (and wonderful toy too!). A proper digital camera is something I have long envied to take photos of toys with, and is one of those 'luxury' toys items I really ought to try saving for, after more of the real world expenses get taken care of. They really do make a world of difference with what you can do, and my point and shoot - much as it has been around the world with me - is really showing it's age these days, passed by any average smartphone even.

    @The Moog Superp collage/GGGnK checklist. You know, I am surprised seeing them all together like that how easily the Sunguts fits in. One of my favourite lines, and yet still very affordable; keeps reminding me how I need to get back to the chase on a lot of them.

    Whoa! Nice photo and nice camera Chris! :shock: Congrats on the pachi Barom 1. I saw it come up, and just knew someone was going to adopt it in a flash! :razz: You should start posting bird photos next!

    p.s. looks like you are already starting to unpack your toys. When are you going to start sailor swearing when you set up your cases and lights? ;)

    Thanks Grace! Ha got the tripod on the way and I'm already looking at polarizing filters. I love photography in general, so its just fun to have a decent camera for once.

    Not unpacking toys yet (except Leafman and King Flasher) most of those are purchases since the move. Would love to but I think that might be a bit of a way off from now :(

    Thanks for the update Chris! Looking forward to seeing more pics. Don't worry about the unpacking! The toys will still be there. I've been such a turtle! The carpenter finally finished the shelves, now I just have to figure out where I want to hang them! First I better find the rest of the toys that are in bubble wrap and wash them! :oops:
