Anybody got any background information on GEEK! the toy makers? Hadn't seen much from them up until recently.. Have missed out on other toys? Are they from USA? Japan?
Pretty sure they're from Japan, beyond that, I have no idea. I tried finding info as well, there doesn't seem to be much around, at least not that i could find.
Ok, furhther reading hs led me to believe that Yaghan People might have incorrectly been named, as I think the Selknam people were the ones in the traditional body paint/costumes.... though basically every south american culture had their own style.... But yeah http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selknam_people Lots of blog entries, artwork etc. inspired by them it seems.
Loving the green and black as well. Only small gripe- and I just noticed it- is the midriff on these versions are not painted as the others were. Looks like it should be matte black on the "black people' version and pink on the "white people" version.
Sweet. I like the finished product better. I see it comes with a mini Zofbie. So I'm guessing this was a collaboration with Zollmen?! I wonder if the zombie is painted too
If any one decides they aren't feeling their Medicom Jyujin hit me up, I'd love to have that version next to my TAG. Love this toy.
